IMMERSIVE GAMING ZONE COMES TO 2024 US OPEN AS USTA COMBINES FAN ENGAGEMENT IN THE PHYSICAL AND VIRTUAL WORLDS
- Fans will have access to the Advantage Arena playing area on site throughout the 2024 US Open, starting with free admission on August 19-25.

FLUSHING, NY, August 16, 2024 – The USTA announced today that a new, immersive physical playing space – the first-of-its-kind ‘Advantage Arena’ – will arrive at the 2024 US Open as the USTA continues to engage millions of tennis and gaming fans worldwide. Advantage Arena offers fans a unique opportunity to play and participate in several tennis-themed games and experiences on-site at the US Open, including Fortnite, US Open: Champions of the Court on Roblox, TopSpin 2K25 and Tennis Clash. Advantage Arena will be open to all US Open patrons throughout the tournament, starting with a free fan week on the 19th-25th. August.
Located inside the Chase Center on the grounds of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center Advantage Arena contains 13 playable game stations where fans can compete with each other. Fans who attend the US Open and visit Advantage Arena can win over 3,500 prizesranging from free copies of TopSpin 2K25 Standard Edition, a total of over 600,000 in-game Roblox redeemables and other unique Tennis Clash unlockables.
The highlight of the games to be played is “Tennis Storm”, a new PvP game created at UEFN and integrated with TikTokers Birdo and Dagwummy’s Minigame Box PvP Fortnite Island, created exclusively for the US Open. Players use tennis rackets to hit exploding tennis balls scattered around the arena to eliminate opponents, and the last player standing wins.
The arena also features stations where fans can immerse themselves in the US Open: Champions of the Court — a virtual world launched last year featuring singles and doubles matches against professional players, a treasure hunt and obstacle courses known as “Obbys” — on Ralph. Lauren Ball Crew Obby and a refreshed holiday-themed Obby that offers a brand new culinary experience at the Emirates “Fly Better” Adventure Zone. The experience also features an all-new Polo Ralph Lauren Photo Quest, giving US players the chance to win real-life Ralph Lauren merchandise.
